I am so lucky to be a trainer…

Today I feel as though I am the luckiest person alive.  No I didn’t win the lottery and I didn’t meet anyone famous.  I feel lucky because of what I do for a living.  Being a trainer is a gift in my opinion.  I have to wake up every morning and motivate myself and my clients.  I have to feel motivated to motivate.  I must walk the talk and practice what I preach.  I must be a careful listener and be patient.  I must be understanding and flexible.  I have to be inspired to then inspire.  All these qualities and “musts” are what make me a fantastic trainer.  But this isn’t what makes me the luckiest person.  I am so priveledged to work with some of the hardest working clients I have ever worked with.  I am inspired daily by my clients as most of them have huge goals that have long roads ahead.  I don’t hear a lot of excuses anymore.  I hear “I can” and “I will”…I have text messages sent to me daily and weekly with their updates and they all amaze me with their progress.  I hear of all the obstacles they have overcome and some of the barriers they have broken thru.  I hear sad stories of discouragement that have now been turned into motivation.  I am so lucky to be part of each and everyone’s journey to a better, healthier lifestyle.  I am so lucky to share my passion with them and so lucky that each and every single one of them puts as much effort in as they can.  I am not a perfect trainer, they are not perfect clients.  We have a great balance all of us and I would not ask for anything more!  Together we all inspire each other to do better and I am so lucky to be the trainer that takes the journey with them.

Find within your passion to succeed and you will…. 🙂
